Parc Astérix in Paris

Besides the world famous Disneyland Paris, Paris has a second big amusement park. This theme amusement parc is based on the stories of Astérix by Albert Uderzo. Come and discover the amazing world of Asterix and his Friend, Obelix the two Gallics who lived in Brittany and who refused to surrender at Cesar after the defeat of Vercingetorix. They are drawing heroes and this amusement park is dedicated to them.

30 kilometers away from the center of Paris, this theme park used to be opened only from April to October. Since 2007, the park is also open in winter. There are a lot of roller coasters. One of the most famous is “Le Tonnerre de Zeus”, a magnificent and unique wooden roller coaster that takes you 30 meters off the ground over the treetops. You can also have fun with a lot of water rides like “La Descente du Styx” and a rafting called “Menhir Express” with a lot of fallings in the dark.

You don’t like thrill ride? No problem! You also have rides for all the family, even for children. You can also take part to some shows like the dolphin show.
